Shana Hessling, APRN, FNP-C, FNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner
Shana Hessling began her nursing career as an LPN in 2015 at St. Bernard’s hospital on the post-operative orthopedic, neurosurgery, and urology floor. After completing RN school in 2017 she began working in the ICU at St. Bernard’s and remained there for 7 years in total while also working part time at the Outpatient Surgery Center in the Gastrointestinal Lab.
Being from the small-town Weiner, AR, she always knew she wanted to help those in the rural community. When going back to Family Nurse Practitioner school her main goal was to practice in an area where she had a great impact on those she cared for. When the opportunity to work in an integrated functional medicine environment was given to her she knew she had found a way to maximize the help she could provide.
Being a mom of 2, a 12 year old daughter and 2 year old son, Shana rarely has free time. When she is able to find a few moments to take a breath, she loves traveling with her kids and husband. She is always looking to expand her knowledge and skill sets, so you will often hear about new products and procedures she has been trained in to provide the best care for her patients.
